Biophilic Design

Nature is a foundation. It isn’t an ad-on.

Our design process integrates natural elements, patterns and flows into the spaces we create, reconnecting its inhabitants with the living world.

From natural light and ventilation, to views and selected plants, every decision is made to promote wellbeing through a deeper relationship with nature.

Bio-based Building Materials

Renewable, regenerative, healthy.

Wood, lime, cork and other bio-based resources.
We prioritise natural low-impact materials, that are kind to the human body, to the planet and that are locally available.

We select materials not just for their performance and aesthetics, but also for their ability to regenerate ecosystems and promote healthier indoor environments.

Indoor Air Quality

We consciously avoid toxic substances and volatile organic compounds (VOC).

Our building systems promote natural ventilation, regulate humidity and reduce indoor pollutants. We carefully select the materials that are in direct content with indoor surfaces.
Our aim is to create spaces that are as healthy to breath as they are to inhabit.

We advocate for the precautionary principle (if you don’t know what’s on it, don’t use it!).

Passive & Smart Building

We blend vernacular wisdom with modern engineering.

Through passive strategies such as solar orientation, cross ventilation, thermal mass or green roofs, we reduce energy consumption and increase comfort.
We design electrical networks that minimize exposure to electromagnetic fields and, whenever it makes sense, we integrate cutting-edge technology — with discretion and in the service of well-being.

    BIOARCH was never just about architecture.
    From day one, it’s been about building a future that’s more conscious

    BIOARCH is a fully integrated design-and-build practice. That means we don’t just deliver plans — we deliver finished buildings. Our approach combines biophilic design, bio-based materials, passive systems and emotional customisation to create spaces that are deeply connected to people, place and planet.

    We mostly design for private clients, but we’re always open to aligned collaborations. Our focus is on creating bespoke, meaningful architecture for individuals, companies or families. That said, we welcome partnerships with investors, brands or organisations whose values match ours — particularly in areas like regenerative design, innovative constructions systems and research.

    We take care of everything — we design and build. BIOARCH offers a full turn-key service. We manage the entire process, from the first conversation to the final detail on site. But what truly sets us apart is how we design: combining ancestral wisdom with contemporary engineering, guided by nature, precision and emotional intelligence.
